The Miller’s Blend is a tribute to Denis Benjamin Kirwan who was granted land in 1821 and established a Mill on the property in 1825. A limited release of an old method of co-fermenting grapes – 56% Chambourcin, 21% Shiraz & 23% Viognier still practiced predominantly in Tuscany and Northern Rhone.
The Miller’s Blend has standout complexities of floral aromas, goosberry, mulberry, spiced plums and cedar. The palate is long with well-rounded tannins and balanced acidity. The ‘locked-in’ characteristic of these grape varieties promotes long mouth feel that finishes with hints of lime, pepper and dark chocolate.
